Onboard Creative was hired to build FittingPros, the first dedicated golf club fitting directory that helps golfers find and compare local fitters by location, launch monitor technology, fitting types, and services.

Since the quality of fitting services varies drastically across the industry, standard directory listings were insufficient. Onboard Creative designed deep-dive profiles for every location. We created structured data fields that allow fitters to showcase their specific value propositions: launch monitor technology (e.g., Trackman, GCQuad), number of hitting bays, indoor vs. outdoor settings, and specific club or shaft brands carried. This transparency ensures golfers know exactly what they are paying for before they book a session.
Demand for club fitting is nationwide, but the best options are often local. We implemented a granular search system that allows users to filter by state, city, or specific service type. From high-end studios offering 50,000+ head-shaft combinations to local brand specialists, our search logic instantly connects users with their precise match.
Managing thousands of data points for a national directory requires a seamless backend. We engineered an automated content ecosystem using Airtable as the central source of truth. By integrating Make (formerly Integromat), we automated the ingestion of critical fitter details, such as addresses and service specifics, directly into Airtable. This data is then automatically synced to the Webflow database (CMS) using Whalesync. This architecture allows FittingPros to manage their entire directory from a simple spreadsheet interface while ensuring the live website is instantly updated without manual duplication.
Many golfers don't realize how different fittings can be from one studio to another. The site design integrates educational context, helping users understand the difference between a retail fitting and a tour-level, brand-agnostic experience. By guiding the user through these distinctions, FittingPros doesn't just list businesses; it empowers the user to make a confident, informed investment in their game.
